A unique, top-sealing damper, the Energy Top is designed with a rubber gasket seal attached to the frame that compresses and conforms to the lid when closed. The Energy Top Damper comes with a hardware kit, 30' cable, and handle. Important note: Don't use Energy Top dampers with gas logs, as failure to open could cause carbon monoxide to back up into the house. In case of a gas leak, gas could be trapped in the flue, resulting in an explosion.
